Hey, I've got an old Leading Edge 486DLC in my basement. Needs a new set of drives.

Maybe the Oracle Museum should be virtual, with a registry of who has what archaic Oracle stuff. I have all the version 5 for DOS diskettes, which it sounds like you have as well. I tried running the installer in the DOS window on my Windows NT PC a couple years ago, and it only balked because I didn't have one of the designated PC brands. Not sure where I'm going to find a Leading Edge brand PC these days. I also have the "Oracle: The Complete Reference" for v.5 and v.6 by George Koch, which includes a variety of v.5 administration syntax (IOR WARM, etc.), and a wall-mountable full color picture of the author on the back looking very spiffy with the exception of needing a neck shave. -- Jeremiah Wilton http://www.speakeasy.net/~jwilton On Wed, 4 Jun 2003, Jamadagni, Rajendra wrote: > Dang ... > > last Friday we threw away Oracle 6/7/8 disks and printed manuals ...
