Friends -- Looks like Dell is moving call centers from India to Texas and Tennessee. Seems that the folks in India, while very polite, have thick accents. Um. Thick, non-Texan, accents. Anyway, this may bode well for us technical folks if this [and the previously discussed article] are the beginning of a "bring the tech jobs back" trend. This may imply that we are [temporarily] moving away from a globalized technical labor force (and therefore global wage equilibrium). Of course, it could mean nothing beyond what it says. Time will tell. In the meantime, here's the link.
