Good understanding of running JVMs in a Linux environment and OS and system tuning. Understanding java performance tuning and java performance characteristics in a multi-threaded environment. Some Experience with system tuning and gathering OS (Linux) metrics. Experience with JBoss App server Understanding of java Garbage Collection behavior and various configurations available for that.. Remote debugging applications and identifying and troubleshooting issues.
