Job Title : Sr. Java Developer Location : Columbia, MD Duration : 8 Month Contract Make sure they have Brainbench or Provit Test Results listed on the resume. Here are the comments from the manager regarding the resumes they have reviewed. "Some issues I seen so far is employment history gaps or very short durations (2 months) - Red flag. Spelling, punctuation, etc. errors - Another flag. Appears to have worked on smaller systems and not enterprise level. Limited to no financial services industry experience. One person (I think the one I rejected) talked about the project but not what they did on the project." I currently have 8+ year contract position for a Sr. Java Developer with at least 5 + years experience in software development in the full development lifecycle in the Financial Industry; candidates that don't meet this requirement would not be submitted. This position is in Columbia, MD location. The client WILL require an in person interview, so if the candidate is out of area please make confirm that you will fly them in for the interview. The client will give preference to candidates that have good job estability (i.e. 2-3 years contract in each company).*** Java/J2EE Brainbench or Provit type test scores are required to be in the skills summary & on top of the resume for this position. **** The candidate should have the following skills: - 5+ years of Java /J2EE Development with 3+ years working on large complex systems - Excellent problem solving and debugging skills - Ability to integrate complex financial systems - Experience with Java 5 or higher - Experience with common Java application development related technologies - EJB, Servlets, JDBC, XML, Struts, Web Services and other Java APIs - Work within JBoss, WebLogic, and WebSphere application server environments - Self starter with the initiative to work with minimal supervision - Ability to work both independently and within a team environment - Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills - Ability to meet frequent deadlines in a fast moving environment Required Skills: Required Skills Java, J2EE, EJB Servlets JSP• XML• HTML.
