Job Tilte : Java Developer Location : Boston , MA Duration : 1 Year Contract Required Skills : We are in search of a Sr Java Developer for the Portfolio Construction or Mobile Application projects. The developer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the existing framework as well as performing upgrades. The developer is expected to develop in both Java, Swing, ExtJS and/or Sencha Touch, for both the UI and the Service layer. A successful candidate must have both client and server hands-on experience. Project 1: Portfolio Construction is a Swing/J2EE Portfolio Management tool, used internally by our Portfolio Managers to look at their holdings, view research, analytical data, risk information, realtime data and to create trades for multiple security types (Equities, CFWDs, and Options) Project 2: The Investment Mobile Platform is an HTML5 based mobile application written using Sencha Touch. It is the mobile front-end for a growing number of investment applications. It provides holdings info, performance, research, security pricing and much more. Position Requirements: Senior Java developer with at least 8 years hands-on experience. Solid knowledge of javascript and css3. Prior experience working on enterprise financial applications is a plus. Candidate must have a solid understanding of core Java technologies. Candidate must have strong working experience with J2EE technologies. Needs to be able to produce code in a fast pace environment. Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL (Oracle preferred).
