Send me profiles : ar...@vedicsoft.com *Role : Quality Assurance Tester (SSRS experience)* *Location: Chicago, IL* *Duration: 6+ month contract* *Looking for GC/ USC/ * *Local candidate to face to face* *Interviews: Phone + Onsite* *Responsibilities* * Develop and maintain a solid knowledge of the existing systems and business processes. * Work with the project team to identify appropriate test coverage and create test data as necessary. * Participate in requirements review and risk identity. * Review and/or develop test scenarios and scripts ensuring all variations are accounted for. * Conduct first line system and functional testing and work with developers to resolve issues. * Document and manage test results. This will include documenting the necessary steps to re-create identified issues and a clear explanation of the nature of the issues. * Assist project team with user acceptance testing. * Able to work on multiple projects/assignments according to plan, report progress and issues to the Business Process Manager to ensure required work is delivered on time. * *Proficiency in change control management tools (PVCS Tracker, Jira).* * Build productive relationships across the enterprise. * Communicate effectively with users and stakeholders to ensure user expectations are managed effectively. *Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree in a related discipline * Minimum three years experience working in a similar role * *Experience dealing with different cultures within a global user base and working as part of a distributed team across international borders is a big plus* * Strong analytical, organization and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail * Experience in data migration, incremental data sync and report testing * Efficient in SQL Server Reporting Services * Efficient in Functional testing * Ability to deal with ambiguity, can prioritize rapidly and update quickly * Proven ability to lead initiatives, meet deadlines and deliver results * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Exhibit positive attitude and professional demeanor * Expertise with MS Office Products * Some travel may be required Best Regards, *Arjun Kanakoti* *VEDICSOFT* | *Business Intelligence.
