As a Consultant, you should have in-depth knowledge in any one
technological or industry practice / functional area and overview of 2-3
other areas. You should handle solution definition/ fitment for a small
sized project with a medium complexity. You should be able to build a
custom Function Module with medium complexity program logic.

Ability to conduct Consulting engagements, do requirements gathering from
customers, understand business need and articulate solutions. Negotiation,
Presentation Skills should be apt to showcase technology depth and breadth
of the organization. Ability to map to the right stakeholders,
multivendor/practice/party coordination. Proactive approach towards
generating downstream business revenue by analyzing the as is business of
the customer. Account Mining to generate opportunities.



*Skill2 - SAP HCM Payroll (L4)*

Generic Proficiency: Ability to read through the customer business
processes and simultaneously formulating the adoption of the best business
practices in meeting the foreseeable challenges. Ability to review,
validate the right setoff questions. Create solution workshops with senior
business managers, review validate solution proposals and estimates,
rendering advice on best business practices and getting the buy in to adopt
these practices. Ability to keep up-to-date with the SAP roadmap and
technology relevant to HR domain. Ability to create solution road maps
integrating multiple disparate processes. Ability top resent and get the
buy in for the solution from senior managers and the Coevals. Implement the
solution by leading the team. In addition to leveraging the standard
processes, come out with innovative solutions and timely execution of the
project within the agreed time lines and the cost. Ability to lead abeam
and participate in presales activity and ability to give suggestions on
areas of improvements. Knowledge of the quality processes and adopted
quality standards in projects. Knowledge of the recognized quality tools
and Participate in Quality Improvement meetings Should have more than 6
years of SAP experience in the core module of specialization and 5 - 8
years of domain experience Module specific Proficiency: Must have good SAP
application specific knowledge of the HR/Payroll processes: o Personnel
Administration, Organization Management, Time Management, Benefits
Management o Payroll Accounting: ? SAP Tax Model Configuration experience ?
Experience in Schema customization ? Good understanding of partial period
factoring ? Good understanding of Processing class, accumulation class and
evaluation class ? Good understanding of Retro accounting ? Good
understanding of wage splits ? Midyear go-live implementation experience ?
Managed parallel payroll runs and go-live ? Experience in Guaranteed net
amount (grossing up) functionality ?Interfaces to third party applications
(E-filing, Trust accounting, Benefits administration) o HR Analytics o
Integration with other SAP modules o Interface to FI module Must have
specialized in at least two or more of the country specific payroll
localization o US o Canada o UK o Europe (other than UK) Essential Skill(s)

and the IT landscape rapidly. Ability to frame the right set of questions
for single process track. Assist in creating solution proposals, rough
effort estimates., detailed solution documentation, presentation and in
implementation. Able to guide a team , preparation of design documents,
gathering business requirements, knowledge of the quality processes and
also guide the team in using the various quality tools. Should have at
least 2 - 4yrs years of SAP experience in the core module of specialization
and 1 - 3years of domain experience Module specific Proficiency: Must have
good SAP application specific knowledge of the HR/Payroll processes: o
Personnel Administration, Organization Management o Payroll Accounting: ?
SAP Tax Model Configuration experience ? Experience in Schema & PCR
customization . Reasonable understanding of partial period factoring ?
