Yes, I am quite new running oralux on this laptop. I got the dectalk rt5
software--and was successful typing in my serial number. However, now when I
boot the machine with your oralux 0.6 alpha, yes it asks about particular
synthesizers, but when I select dectalk, it loads plenty of items--and shoves
me in an emacspeak read me file. I can find no way out, oh, it says it is
write protected.
I looked on the hard-drive for a saveconfig but windows 98 doesn't find one.
Ultimately, I just want to run dec-talk---and YASR.
Now, as a curiousity, how did you get the volume to go so much louder than in
windows? I wish I could have that kind of sound all the time.
In many cases sound gets choppy or I completely miss words while arrowing in
oralux. Yes, I eventually have studdering in windows with jaws.
