Gilles:
Yes, under Emacspeak, 0.6 alpha proposes a short text to give a few
informations and point out the very first documents about Emacspeak
and Emacs.
At line 44, this text indicates how to quit Emacspeak:
the keystroke is
C-x C-c
(so hold down the Control x keys and then the Control c keys),
and then you will come back to the audio menu.

I looked on the hard-drive for a saveconfig but windows 98 doesn't find one.

Gilles:
The filenames are knoppix.sh and configs.tbz.
When the PC boots up the CD, the saved configuration will be looked for.
If it is found, the said message is:
Do you want to update your configuration?

Under saveconfig, this is better at the moment to answer yes to each
question (do you want the xxx configuration, etc...). And finaly
select your hard disk partition. There are not named by a letter (c: or
d:); for example hda1 means the first partition of the first IDE hard
disk.

Hart:
Now, as a curiousity, how did you get the volume to go so much louder than in
windows? I wish I could have that kind of sound all the time.

Gilles:
Well, so already one reason to prefer GNU/Linux all the time <smile>!
