Dan,

I did not get explanation on any of xxforms's attributes or elements on http://www.orbeon.com/ois/doc/reference-xforms. Is there any other way?

Moreover, I'm having a specific problem. One of my input controls (say State) is bound to an instance XPath say "/Address/State". This node may or may not be received in the instance data received from external data source during execution of the application. In case when node is not received, Orbeon engine throws error as "/Address/State must be resolved as an element". Instead of getting error, my need is : don't show this control on the page. The control and bind elements are declared as follows -

<xforms:input ref="/Address/State">
....
....

<xforms:model xmlns:xforms="http://www.w3.org/2002/xforms" xmlns:xi="http://www.w3.org/2003/XInclude">
    <xforms:instance>
        <xi:include href="">
   </xforms:instance>
   <xforms:bind id="state" nodeset="/Address/State"/>
</xforms:model>

To solve this problem, I declared these as follows -

<xforms:input ref="/Root/TAddress/State">
....
....

<xforms:model xmlns:xforms="http://www.w3.org/2002/xforms" xmlns:xi="http://www.w3.org/2003/XInclude">
    <xforms:instance>
        <Root>
                <TAddress>
                        <State/>
                </TAddress>
                <xi:include href=""  <!-- instance data received from external data source during run-time -->
        </Root>
   </xforms:instance>
   <xforms:bind id="state" nodeset="/Root/TAddress/State" relevant="count(/Root/Address/State)>0">
</xforms:model>

With this, although is neither throws error not show the control when its node is not received in InstanceData, but it also does not show the instance value when node is received.

Please suggest.

Thanks and Regards,
Rahul Agarwal

xxforms namespace contains non standard XForms attribs and
elements.  While I don't believe we have doc specifically on the
contents of the xxforms namespace, I do believe all of the
'public' aspects of it are covered in the in the XForms
reference documentation located at the following URL :

http://www.orbeon.com/ois/doc/reference-xforms

.  Just search for xxforms on the page and you will see.
