Hi everyone,

It's been awhile since I've sent out an update about my site,
www.orchidphotos.org.

First off, after a year of work, I finished the species library! Each genus
now has its own page, making it easier to find things and making it easier
to browse the images. You should notice a definite speed improvement over my
previous organizational structure.

Secondly, I've been busy taking photos, and have started shooting hybrids!
(I've reached a plateau of sorts in terms of new species I can photograph
here in the Bay Area)

First is a visit to Tom Perlite and Golden Gate Orchids:

There were quite a few nice Odontoglossum-type hybrids in bloom plus a
smattering of other things.

The Peninsula Orchid Society just had their annual Show and Sale:

Lots and lots of Cymbidiums, some Mormodes, Paphiopedilums, and some
lesser-seen species.

Finally, I visited some growers in Pacifica, CA in October 2005. The growers
there include Hawk Hil, Joe Parker, and Hanging Gardens:

Lots of Odonts, Draculas, Pleurothallids, Restrepia, Sigmatostalix, etc.

Enjoy!
