I am glad to hear that someone has had success with DE...I for one found it a total failure...in fact, I could see the slime trails over the DE as the slugs made their way to more tasty offerings. Even the Garden's Alive catalog that first promoted DE (from my experience..) later admitted that DE was not that effective...I also had a student do a research project using DE, not on slugs though....as an insecticide on crickets...results were that it was ineffective. But, everyone's conditions are different...and if it works for someone, they are very lucky...slugs are really nasty. Take care, Eric
