Nancy asked about the proper format for the name of a natural hybrid. Quoting
from pg. 3 of The Handbook on Orchid Nomenclature and Registration (4th
edition):

"The nomenclature and typography of natural interspecific hybrids follows that
of species, except that the multiplication sign (x) precedes the second term of
the name ..... Natural intergeneric hybrids are named in the same way, except
that a new 'hybrid-generic name' is given...."

It sounds like the normal rules apply except for adding the multiplication sign
before the species name, or before the compound genera name in the case of an
intergeneric hybrids.
