This is not strictly origami, but I think it's close enough to fit in this list.
In the book "The Langoliers" by Stephen King there is a character that goes crazy and when he is stressed he rips strips of paper. There are parts of the book when the sound of riiip, riiip, riiip is repeated. I always wondered if this is a real disorder that has been documented. Does anyone know? -- Jorge Jaramillo
