The largest collection of antique Zhen Xian Bao that I know of are in the
PaDoRe Archive (on documentation and historical research of the art of
paper folding), which is run by Joan Sallas. In 2017, I was fortunate
enough to see them in person and hear Joan Sallas and Xiaoxián Huáng
discuss their research and how they uncovered their histories. From that
moment on, the Madrid group of the Spanish Origami Association (AEP) was
swept up in a frenzy to make these Chinese boxes and give them as gifts.
