I didn't notice that Orion's web server supports SSL -- I assume this is due to some sort of export restriction? Is there any way to have secure servlets/JSP/EJBs, etc? And I agree w/ Zvi, a java-based HTTP engine that beats a native engine hands down? Are there any Orion users out there that can vouch for this? I've been using JRun since it's first beta release -- their big selling point to me was their proprietary JSP Taglets. But now that JSP 1.1 has a spec on that...and Orion supports it...might be time to change?? --- Neal Kaiser Make-a-Store - Your E-Commerce Solution Provider Voice: 703-271-9449 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ICQ #: 49391872 URL: http://www.make-a-store.com ----- Original Message ----- From: Zvi Avraham <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, October 13, 1999 7:27 AM Subject: ORION SERVER vs. APACHE BENCHMARK > Foster Bob wrote: > > > >the orionserver site has some impressive (almost unbelievable) benchmark > > >comparisons(http://www.orionserver.com/benchmarks/benchmark.html) against > > >ServletExec > > From url above: > > <quote> > Web server comparison with Apache > > This benchmark is a comparison of Orion vs Apache (one of the most well known web > servers).
