I am trying to implement a failover for my scheduler. If I have multiple orions running on a single machine then the only way to distinguish between them is to use a host name and a port number. My problem is in getting the port number of either orion or rmi server associated with a specific instance of the application server. I was trying to get to rmi registry through jndi service but I could not find rmi service binding in the initial context or in any of its subcontexts. Any thoughts on how to get the port number?
