I checked the archives & Google and couldn't find an explicit reference indicating ORO was J2ME compatible. I do know someone tried to run a JDBC driver I wrote that uses ORO 2.0.4 on JDK 1.1.8, and it crashed inside ORO when it tried to reference Hashmaps.
