J2ME is not a "single platform" enough to say that OSGi will be available for
J2ME. OSGi today seems to start at the CDC platform, which is most common for
PDAs and Set-Top boxes but not in mobile phones or embedded electronics.
In general, I would say "yes" that OSGi-like technology can possibly be
a single modularization layer for all three segments.
The Mobile Expert Group in Java in relation to JSR 232 has worked hard
to bring OSGi to mobile phones.
