It's totally up to the packager in the end, as OSCAR won't do anything but put the user-defined groups into ODA. So... that leaves it to C3 to check out the groups the user has defined during it's configuration. Once we're defining groups this way, I'm definitely going to request that the C3 packager draws from the groups the user defined ODA, and makes it automatically reflect them. Likewise with the PBS package...

I think the biggest reason for mentioning this was whether or not c3
will automatically have each (arbitrary) node group defined as a
"cluster" within c3.conf.  The C3 tools will still work as expected
(work on a default "cluster", but can work on any given "cluster").
