Hello,

I have an auto(make|conf) problem on redhat 3AS :

./autogen.sh
[...]
 - packages/switcher/SRPMS/Makefile.am
Generating AC_CONFIG_FILES list...
aclocal
/usr/share/aclocal/pkg.m4:5: warning: underquoted definition of PKG_CHECK_MODULES
  run info '(automake)Extending aclocal'
  or see http://sources.redhat.com/automake/automake.html#Extending%20aclocal
/usr/share/aclocal/pilot-link.m4:1: warning: underquoted definition of
AC_PILOT_LINK_HOOK
/usr/share/aclocal/ogg.m4:8: warning: underquoted definition of XIPH_PATH_OGG
/usr/share/aclocal/libmikmod.m4:11: warning: underquoted definition of
AM_PATH_LIBMIKMOD
/usr/share/aclocal/audiofile.m4:12: warning: underquoted definition of
AM_PATH_AUDIOFILE
Can't locate object method "path" via package "Request" at
/usr/share/autoconf/Autom4te/C4che.pm line 69, <GEN1> line 111.
aclocal: autom4te failed with exit status: 1

It seems that the execution of "" has failed.
I am gonna abort. :-(

This may be caused by an older version of one of the required
packages. Please make sure you are using at least the following
versions:

GNU Autoconf 2.52
GNU Automake 1.5

======================
However here are the installed packages :

>rpm -qa |grep auto (for fedora core 2)
automake17-1.7.9-2
autorun-3.13-1
autofs-4.1.2-2
autoconf-2.59-3
automake16-1.6.3-2
automake15-1.5-10
automake-1.8.3-1

>rpm -qa |grep auto (for fedora core 2)
rpm -qa | grep auto
automake15-1.5-7
automake-1.6.3-5
autoconf213-2.13-6
autorun-3.10-1
automake14-1.4p6-6
autoconf-2.57-3
autofs-3.1.7-41

This happens on IA64 and i386 (for fedora core 2).

Any hint ?

Ben
