Dear Oscar Users and Oscar Support Folks,
I confirm the same problem as Lefevre Jerome and several others. Oscar basically
builds the client's image with 2.4.# kernels.
I am running Dell SC 1425 boxes with dual Xeons and 160 GB SATA drives with a 2.6.5-1smp kernel.
I get the same thing on the client nodes as they are PXE booting. I dug
around and in fact there isn't a single drive anywhere in /dev on the client node.
And now for a series of silly questions...
* I understand that I use the kernel_picker to choose a new kernel. How do I create this kernel?
*Do I use SystemImager?
*And why does Oscar use a different kernel than the server is running for the clients during PXE
booting?
Thanks for your help ....Mark
