We are using D-Link DGE-530T GigaExpress 10/100/1000Mbps PCI Network Adapter (on eth1). The
bios will boot using the internal but not the pci
card. But I used the floppy to boot but it seems that Oscar didn’t
activate the D-link card when it built the “client” server, so
until I get eth1 working, my client is going to sync up with the server. John -----Original Message----- Hi John: It might help if you
provide us with more information to troubleshoot with. Does your network
card support PXE boot? Cheers, Bernard From: John
Banas [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] One more thing… I
solved this issue and I created floppy to start up my clients, but when I boot
up the clients, it sits after the “syslinux…..”
line. Doesn’t absolutely nothing.
I’m going to go back in and rebuild the floppy tomorrow but anyone
have any thoughts? My clients are new (AMD)
systems with an additional D-Link Gig Lan card in
them on eth1. John -----Original Message----- Hi John: Try: mksiimage
--delete --name oscarimage and make
sure /var/lib/systemimager/images/oscarimage is
deleted as well. Cheers, Bernard
