Yes. We call them Big Iron. With all the noise and the need of aircond. Its huge. Its can handle batch processing in matters of hours. Remembers Banking need to use this for a huge calculation with hundred thousand account. The data is huge.
You can search for other Big Iron like HP Super Dome thats running HP-UX 11i, IBM AS400 (Blue and Red) thats running OS400, Unisys that run ECDIC OS system (Spend 2 months to write a shell script to integrate data system from Unisys and Unix SVR4).
