That's very interesting.
But is it a good move ?

Looks like MM is splitting Flash into two different products :
- the Flash8 line focused on webdesigners and focused on design/effects
- the Flex2 line targeted for developers and more focused on RIA / language
tools

The good point is that the two can run on the same plugin.
But can they interact together ? and how ?
Will it be enough reasons for FlashCoders to drop their brand new FlashIDE 8
and run for Flex2 ?

I would like to ask a question to the community : if you have to make a
jump, would you prefer to go for Flex2 (which have the "update the player"
advantage) or would you prefer to go for a fully opensource player which can
run AS2 but on a very fast virtual machine (http://nekovm.org) ?
