Thanks, Jim. It might not have been clear from my original post, or the fact may have been lost in subsequent replies, but I'm looking for a linux solution. (I've changed the subject line of this email to include linux to help avoid confusion in the future.) CamStudio appears to be Windows. I'll give it a shot in CrossOver, though, just in case. So far I've had no luck with the screen capture route, regardless of the software, due to the bounding box and related issues mentioned above. I'm guessing it's something inherent in the way screen capture works with respect to flash.
