This is something I thought of a while back. I haven't looked into the
feasibility of this at all...

What if instead of embedding the connector in your app, you had the option
to embed your app in an XRay "player"? So this "player" could load the XRay
connector and any other swf.

sounds great..i'll have to try it out.

Is there a way to hook xray in when compiling with mtasc but without
loading the connector swf?

the reason im asking is that for ASDT (which has a new beta available,
i'll make
a new post for it) its much easier for me to integrate logging systems by
compiling in the necessary code, rather than getting files copied into the
right
place (and also removing them if the user switches to a different logging
system)

also do you have a working example of using XRay with Zero-i ? because
i've
already go zeroi setup for the luminic box logger.

If I have to I dont mind doing some coding for either xray or zeroi (or
both) to
get the whole show running, i just need to know what im facing.

personally id love to get xray running with ASDT because there are times
when I
know it is what i need to use but the setup time may outweigh any benefits
so i
just resort to the usual brute force for...in tracing solutions :)
