OKAY, i figured out what I was doing wrong! ;) I followed the directions
from Jake Hilton at http://osflash.org/red5/suse cuz I have redhat DUH! lol
so I got it going but I don't know if I am connecting or not, still in the
testing process. ;) And thanks for all your help Glenn!
