I don’t think a shader is a must, given your description. Have you considered simply creating a texture where each pixel represents a cell of your grid?

Please exercise caution when you open attachments or click on links contained within the message – Meggitt MIS *** ________________________________ I want to render a 2D dynamic occupancy grid with large number of cells, with each grid cell of different color based on some probability info. I'm wondering if osg::shader is a must for the sake of performance. Thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OpenSceneGraph Users" group.
