Yep, these are common issues on proprietary Unix variants. Are you able to use
gcc instead of the Sun compiler? That could be a solution. However, the Boost
dependency still remains. If you want, I have the working version of the plugin
which uses the old OpenVRML without Boost, that could be OK. However, you still
need a working STL implementation - OpenVRML uses it extensively.
