The features and the file formats are and will be different between osgViewer and Producer. osgViewer is written to make it easier to embed the OSG into existing applications and other 3rd party windowing toolkits, as well provide scalability for multiple screen systems. Since the osgViewer API is native OSG there is no duplication of class types and no clashes of design concepts.
