I have often thought it would be useful to have an "LODScaleNode" so that one could apply different LOD scales to different parts of the scene graph. My questions are: Does something effectively similar already exist? I suppose one could use a cull callback... are there any insidious issues with changing the LOD scale in the middle of a cull traversal? Any finally, is this something anyone else would like to see in the core?
