Hi Csaba, Thanks the image it makes it pretty clear the quality difference. I suspect that mipmapping or is softening the thin edges too much, or perhaps the gamma values used by freetype are appropriate for those used by OpenGL. Ideally I'd like the OSG to work as best it can out of the bag without special tricks.
