Oh... that sounds like a better approach, if it works in my implementation 
(yes, I'm using the above impl, but if pax web is ready to roll, I'll make the 
switch :-)

I could register the Restlet app suggested by Steve on "/" and use that to 
route requests. I guess I'd just need to figure out how to get OSGi and Restlet 
to play together nicely...

Restlet sounds at first glace like it's worth looking into. I used to use 
Cocoon and there are many things I liked about it, the URL approach being one.
