LONDON, December 25 (IranMania) - A total of 100 ambulances will be
delivered to the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) by Iranian
residents in Dubai, UAE, by the end of the current Iranian year (March
20, 2007), said head of the society.

Massoud Khatami also told Mehr News Agency that problems facing customs
clearance of ambulances have been removed and they will be delivered to
the Rescue and Relief Organization.

Earlier, in a ceremony marking the 36th anniversary of the establishment
of the Iranian hospital in Dubai, Khatami said that the society had
established 12 clinical centers in some African countries, Afghanistan
and Pakistan.

Referring to operations of three Iranian hospitals in Lebanon, Yemen and
UAE, he noted that they received a large number of petitions from
different countries for setting up new clinical centers due to the high
quality of medical services being rendered in the clinical centers
operating under the auspices of the society.
