LONDON, December 25 (IranMania) - Mel Gibson's controversial movie 
'Passion of Christ' was screened in Imam Ali (AS) Religious Arts Museum.

Sunday edition of the English-language newspaper `Iran News' wrote in 
its Art page that the screening is part of the 'Rites of the Mirror' 
program that has been arranged in connection with the ongoing exhibition 
of 40 posters by Iranian and foreign artists are vying for top awards of 
the First Tehran Poster Competition of the World Award of Monotheistic 
Religions.

The other films in the 'Rites of the Mirror' program are Baraka by Ron 
Feric, Francesco by Liliana Cavani, House of God by Jalal Moghaddam and 
Abolqasem Rezaei, Khajshooyan and Another Season by Zaven Qukasian, 
Journey to Haidalou by Mojtaba Raie, The Sacred Footsteps by Mohammad 
Mahdi Asgarpour and Kingdom of the Heaven by Ridley Scott.

The screenings will be held on Sundays and Wednesdays during the Iranian 
month of Dei (December 22 to January 20).
