Iran condemns terrorist acts in Pakistan, Iraq
Tehran, Jan 31, IRNA

Iran-Pakistan-Terrorist acts
The Iranian Foreign Ministry Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist
acts In Iraq and Pakistan which resulted in the martyrdom of innocent
civilians and mourners during ceremonies marking the anniversary of the
martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), calling the acts "anti-Islamic."
Enemies of Islam backed by Zionism and global tyranny are breaking the
dignity of Muslims' blood, mosques and religious events in a bid to fan
division and differences among Muslims, Foreign Ministry spokesman Seyed
Mohmmad Ali Hosseini said.

"Vigilance, toleration, solidarity and unity among Muslims are the best
ways to counter such belligerent and satanic moves," he said as quoted
by the General Information and Press Department of the ministry.

Hosseini also urged the Organization of the Islamic
Conference to react to the terrorist acts.

"The OIC reaction against these unfortunate, bitter and anti- Islamic
incidents can prove effective against any recurrence and to demonstrate
the role played by Islamic states in strengthening unity and upholding
the dignity and lives of Muslims," he stressed.
