Hi Dave, I would ask if it is possible to say Hello to Haitty Club, I'm not sure if there are many of them but I got acquainted with several nice Rotarians from Haity in Tuscon, AZ, conference "Rotary in Russia", where were more then 200 Rotarians from all over the world and a group from Haity among them. So Rotarians are really doing a lot in spreading good word and good will in Russia as well. The process in Russia starts about 10 years as it was not allowed before and we have more then 30 Rotary Clubs in Siberia and Far East during the last 5 years. they are not much democratic, but they learn slowly.
OK Best wishes and good luck Elena Marchuk Novosibirsk, Russia ----- Original Message ----- From: (David Koehler) To: osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu Sent: Monday, November 27, 2000 8:55 PM Subject: Re: John in Haiti John: Please tell us how the elections went. I pray for your safety as well as the people of Haiti. I will be speaking before the Downtown Rotary in Peoria on December 15th. I will tell them of the efforts of the Rotarians in Haiti and give them the email addresses that you provided.
