Julie: I agree. My point was not that hatred is justified, but that there are people who operate on that basis. The original question dealt with "can open space be used for evil purposes?" I was trying to point out that whether something is evil or not depends on perspective and has nothing to do with the truth. Moreover, truth is in the mind of the beholder. Therefore, a person can have passion when they believe in what they do, whether it is truth or not.
