Hello Meg, IODA (the smaller OD-organisation) has had a one day OS for at least five years, I will facuilitate the one this year in Chili (www.ioda.cl).
I'd like to add a possible reason not mentioned yet why most large consultancies do not seem to work too much with OS: there is no real turnover to be made on it for lots of consultants......
