I think we tend to see "good" things happen during and after OST because our nature and the nature of truth is "good." When we're invited to manifest who we are, we find we like what we see. And.... most of us also have a bit of not-truth and not-goodness to contend with. If we see THAT part emerge during or after an OST, then perhaps that isn't a failure, but simply evidence of some of us learning something we didn't know before, on our way to reaching our goal.

OST always works because the 4 Principles always, inherently work because they reflect the truth. Truth, goodness, joy and love are all the same. Find one and  you find them all. OST principles speak the truth about who we are and how we can properly conduct ourselves with each other.

Julie,

You've articulated the biggest reasons that I am so drawn to OST. An invitation to enter such a space of truth is such a treasure...and I wonder if to do so in the presence of/cohesively with others is one of the factors that makes OST so unique (scary for some?). To whatever degree it is accepted or embraced, the opportunity to move from our nature of truth with others is a valuable, powerful gift. I believe that life is an invitation to "manifest who we are" and I love the fact that OST reminds people how to go about that process! One step further, I love that OST highlights how simple that movement is. Four principle (reminders), one law, and you're off. I am only a participant and a reader on the list so perhaps there is more that I'm missing, but then again, perhaps there isn't!!

As for you facilitators that are present as this process unfolds...what magic...to share with others in the experience of finding/ of living/ of being "truth, goodness, joy. Find one and  you find them all." I feel so fortunate to be in a life that grants me the opportunity to move from that space, and am even more thankful that i get to share it with others.

Thanks for the warm and fuzzy thoughts!

Ashley
