good luck ted -- the first is always the most memorable, and probably the best.
Savor every moment! And just so you can enjoy it even more, you might find it
helpful to pause just at the moment you enter the circle, take a good deep
breath, smell the roses, nod to the people, think of all the wonderful things
that WILL happen -- and then start out SLOWLY. Let your pace match good, even
breathing. And by the time you get back to start, it is all over but the
shouting. Done deal. You and the people will be ready. What happens next is
totally up to them. Time for a nap :-)

Subject: inner turmoil prior to opening space

Tomorrow is my first "big circle" walk. I've been waiting for this moment
for a long time and am really looking forward to it. And... today I've been on
a roller coaster of emotions, coming close to tears several times. It's a
jumble in my stomach/chest area. Not quite anxiety, nervousness or fear. Not
quite excitement. I'm not sure what it is. It doesn't feel scary or out of
control, nor like something I have to do anything about, other than notice it
and continue to breathe.

Just wanted to share where I am today. Thanks for reading! :-)

  peace,
  ted
