Well, Harrison, you always can suggest to leaders that it is sometimes appropriate to trust your people and tap into their collective experience, especially at the coal face of customers/users and suppliers/providers.

What a world it might be if chair persons, chief executives and decision makers of all stripes actually believed people in an organisation were really their best asset, having energy, insight, ideas and passion and were aching for an opportunity to contribute to a future which they might help shape in an organisation in which they truly might belong.
