FYI--I have had the conversations/os that you helped me think through a few weeks ago. Thank you for your insight and wisdom. It worked well--especially thanks to Harrison, Michael, Tova and Brendan. I think you were the one's who responded directly. If I missed someone, I apologize. It was all helpful. The first night, I opened the space as wide as I could inviting the stories that needed or wanted to be spoken. The first night was planned to be fairly short, but 2 1/2 to 3 hours later, they finished the stories for the night and returned the talking object to the center. The next day, we invited the conversations. They seemed to be able to name the elephants in the room and begin to take some responsibility and steps toward addressing them. Wow!
