Hi all. I got OsmAnd+ some years ago and presently I'm using it on a smartphone Asus Zenfone2 which has a 32GB external SD. As a beta tester of OsmAnd at the moment Google Play is installing version 2.4.1. The OS of my Zenone2 is the Android 5.0.1 (latest official Asus release, without any root and/or custom ROM). For personal reasons, few days ago, I had to reset my smartphone so I had to retore/reinstall all my apps, Osmand+ included In the case of osmAnd+ I reinstalled it but I did not delete my external MicroSD content, hoping to (re)-access easily my maps which were still there. Unfortunately Osmand+ 2.4.1 was not able to recognize the path to my maps. So I went to OsmAnd settings and I found that by default it pointed the path to the maps to the internal SD and not to the external MicroSD. I tried to force the path to my external MicroSD, but an OsmAnd pop-up reported to me that "the path cannot be created and/or cannot be accessed". I tried to set the path manually, but also in this case OsmAnd+ reported the same message. So I deleted both the Osmand+ app and all its maps on the MicroSD. Then I tried to reinstall the program and, before (re)dowloading maps, I tried to set the path to the external MicroSD by using both the preset value or manually inserting the path in OsmAnd+ settings. No luck: also in this case the program reports it is unable to create or access external SD card. The only accepted options are on the internal SD. I saw in this forum some other persons have similar problems with other versions of OsmAnd. For example: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/osmand/JQL9-VedNms
When I initially installed OsmAnd+ (I don't remember its version but it was about one year ago), the OS major version of this phone was the same and I did not have any problem. So, is this a bug of the OsmAnd latest version(s) or am I wrong? Tnx in advance for any clue.
