Yesterday night I updated successfully my Asus Zenfone2 ML 551 to its first Marshmallow release after performing a factory reset. My OsmAnd maps were on the SD card so they stayed untouched. However, when I reinstalled Osmand+ 2.4.6 from scratch and I tried to access my maps it was not able either using a "pre-built-in" external memory path (external 1 or external 2), or giving an external manual path. OsmAnd+ reports that "it cannot create a directory in the specified position" ( exactly the same message I had when I reported the original problem with v.2.4.1). I did not try to remove maps and download them again from scratch, yet. Anyway I also have a problem with "Here We Go" which cannot save data on my MicroSD. So I'm not sure if it is a Zenfone2 new OS release or a problem of these specific apps (Osmand and Here We Go).
