The map may contain both names. You may have set your map language in 
OsmAnd to German. That is additional setting to the OsmAnd interface (UI) 
language. You can set the map language to what you want, if you do not want 
to see German names of anything (e.g. most capital cities in the world also 
have names translated into most languages) you can choose "use local name". 
Then the name will be seen in the language of the country.
