Hi Paul, It's Harry's post codes for UK (in POI format) that are currently not searchable in 2.5.3. The OpenStreetMap postcodes - which aren't as comprehensive as Harry's database, however, are showing in search. There are many gaps on OpenStreetMap post codes as you've discovered. Awaiting the next fixed update to OsmAnd. :-)
