Ever notice that a fighter keeps his eyes focused on the opponent even when he is blocking a punch? Some people would crap themselves and hit the deck because of a mere shoe being thrown at them but that is because sheep have two speeds. Feed and Stampede, and they would go to stampede mode at the first sign of trouble. Men don't behave that way.
