the point being:
a) the Israeli's didn't have their facts correct (they acted on bad  
intelligence or no intelligence ?) - the boat was not a military  
threat, we know that.
b) they attacked a boat in international waters

So, they got two things wrong.  And sadly, it was a boat trying to  
bring medical help to those in need.

Of course, as the story unfolds, and the facts as presented are  
clarified or perhaps changed, then Israel may have had the right to  
ram the boat.

I've not followed the story since that CNN clip --
So I don't know if more accurate info is available.

I agree with you - if McKinney's goal was to shed some light on the  
blockade - she may have been successful.
